This card is for travelers who want one flat earning rate instead of category charts. Every purchase earns 2X miles, and Capital One Travel hotel and car bookings earn 5X. The annual fee is $95. The main caveat: top value from miles requires redeeming for travel or transferring to partners, not cash.

This card is for frequent travelers who want lounge access without a four-digit fee. It earns 2X on everything, 10X on hotels and rental cars and 5X on flights and vacation rentals booked through Capital One Travel. The $300 travel credit and 10,000 anniversary miles offset most of the $395 annual fee. The caveat: the travel credit only works inside Capital One Travel.

This card is for people who want travel miles without paying an annual fee. Every purchase earns 1.25X miles, and Capital One Travel hotel and car bookings earn 5X. A 0% intro APR covers purchases and balance transfers for 15 months. The caveat: the earning rate trails the Venture's 2X, so heavy spenders leave value on the table.

This card is for small businesses that want travel miles without premium pricing. Every purchase earns 2X miles and Capital One Business Travel bookings earn 5X. A $50 travel credit, a $50 advertising or software credit and a $120 Global Entry or TSA PreCheck credit offset the $95 fee. The caveat: no lounge access; that lives on the Venture X Business.

This card is for businesses with real travel volume and the cash flow to pay in full monthly. It earns 2X on everything and up to 10X through Capital One Business Travel, with a $300 annual travel credit and 10,000 anniversary miles against the $395 fee. The caveat: the $30,000 welcome-offer spend requirement is steep for small operations.

This card is for people who need to build or rebuild credit and still want cash back while they do it. You put down a refundable deposit, $200 minimum, as of Sep 4, 2026, and that amount becomes your starting credit line, up to a higher limit if you deposit more before activation. Every purchase earns 1.5% cash back with no annual fee. The catch: several fees, including balance transfer, cash advance and late payment, are not published on the issuer's page and only appear after you apply, so treat those as unknowns until you see your terms. This is not a debit card and not a loan: it is a real revolving credit line backed by your own deposit, and it reports to the credit bureaus like any other credit card.

This card has one job: turn a small refundable deposit into a working credit line while your payment history gets reported to all three major credit bureaus. Your deposit, $49, $99, or $200 depending on your creditworthiness, sets a starting line of at least $200, and you can add more deposit, up to $1,000 total, to raise it further, as of Sep 4, 2026. There is no rewards program and no welcome offer, since the design is aimed at building credit rather than earning points. With on time payments, Capital One says you could become eligible for a credit line increase in as little as six months, and eventually get your deposit back and move to an unsecured Platinum card. The caveat: none of that is promised, and the 28.99% variable APR makes carrying a balance expensive.
