Questions people ask

How is credit utilization calculated?
For each card the page divides the balance by the credit limit. Overall utilization is the sum of all balances divided by the sum of all limits.
What do To Get Under 30% and To Get Under 10% show?
They show how much you would need to pay down across your cards to bring overall utilization below each level. The page notes that under 30% overall is the common guideline and that scores tend to peak under 10%.
Why does the page show my highest card?
One card can carry a high share of its own limit even when your overall figure looks fine. The Highest Card line and the Per Card table show where each balance sits against its limit.
Does this page check my credit score?
No. It works only from the balances and limits you type in. It does not pull a credit report or compute a score.
