Questions people ask

How does the page compare keeping my debts with consolidating them?
It pays each current debt at the monthly payment you enter until it is gone and adds up the interest. It then puts the total balance plus the origination fee into one loan at the new rate and term, and compares payments and total cost.
Is the origination fee included?
Yes. The fee is a percentage of the total debt, it is added to the consolidation loan amount, and Total Interest Difference counts it alongside the new interest.
Can a lower monthly payment cost more in total?
Yes. A longer term can lower the payment while adding interest over more months. The page shows a note when consolidation costs more in total, so compare both lines.
Does Banrox offer the consolidation rate?
No. Banrox does not quote consolidation rates on this page. Enter the rate, term and fee from an offer you received.
