1. What a Number on This Site Is
Nothing on Banrox is an offer. A rate, an annual percentage yield, a monthly payment, a fee, a limit, or a score shown anywhere on this site is published information or an arithmetic estimate. It is not an offer of credit, not a quote, not a pre-approval, and it does not bind Banrox or any company named. Only the provider can make you an offer, in writing, after reviewing your application.
Advertised rates are usually the rates available to the most qualified applicants. Most applicants receive a different rate. Your actual terms depend on your credit profile, income, the amount and term you choose, the state you live in, and the provider's own criteria on the day you apply.
2. Where Every Figure Comes From
- Rates, fees and terms are read from the provider's own published page, its public rate sheet, or a rate feed the provider publishes for that purpose.
- Every figure carries the date it was last checked. If the date looks old to you, treat the provider's page as authoritative and tell us so we can re-check.
- Where a provider publishes a range, we show the range and never the best number alone.
- Where a provider's own pages disagree with each other, we publish neither figure until the conflict resolves, and we mark the product as unverified.
- Where a figure cannot be verified at the source, we leave it out. We do not carry over a number from last quarter and we do not estimate one.
- We do not accept a rate or a term from an advertiser by email, by spreadsheet, or by any private channel. If it is not published where a reader can also see it, it does not go on the site.
Provider disclosures always control. Where our figure and the provider's disclosure differ, the provider's disclosure is correct and ours is out of date.
3. How Products Are Ordered
The default order in every comparison is computed from objective attributes only:

Compensation is not an input. The field recording whether a provider pays Banrox is not readable by the code that builds these orderings. Changing your filters changes the order. Nothing else does.
4. Calculators and Estimates
Calculators on this site apply standard formulas to the numbers you type. They are teaching tools for comparing scenarios, not predictions and not quotes.
- Results assume a fixed rate, equal periodic payments, no missed payments, no fees unless you enter one, and no change in law or in the provider's terms.
- Results ignore taxes, insurance, escrow, origination and prepayment charges, and compounding conventions that differ between providers, unless the specific calculator says otherwise on the page.
- Rounding means a result can differ by a few dollars from a provider's own figure. Where the difference matters, the provider's figure is the one that counts.
- Nothing you type into a calculator is an application, and using one does not cause any credit inquiry.
5. The Bank Directory and Rate Monitor
Directory entries, including addresses, branch details, routing information and hours, are compiled from public records and the institution's own published information. Institutions merge, rebrand, and close branches, and public files lag behind. Verify anything that matters, especially routing numbers, with the institution before you rely on it. Banrox is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any institution listed, and listing is not an endorsement.
6. Scores, Grades and Badges
Where Banrox shows a rating, grade, or badge, the page states what produced it. Ratings are editorial judgements applied consistently across a category, computed from the same published attributes shown in the table, and never influenced by whether a provider pays us. A badge is never sold, and a provider cannot request one.
7. Availability
Products are not available in every state, to every applicant, or at every moment. Providers withdraw products without notice. A product shown to you may be unavailable by the time you click. That is a limitation of publishing, not a bait tactic, and where we learn a product is withdrawn we remove it rather than leave it up.
8. Corrections
If a number here is wrong, write to [email protected] with the page and the figure. We check it against the source, correct it, and note the correction date on the page. We do the same whether the report comes from a reader, from a competitor, or from the provider itself. We do not remove a correct number because a provider dislikes it.
9. Use of This Data
The compilation, selection, arrangement, methodology, and presentation of the data on this site are protected by copyright and by database rights. You may use it for your own personal comparison. You may not scrape it, redistribute it, resell it, or use it to train a model. See Acceptable Use Policy.
