Where can I find Banrox's core legal documents?

Everything is on this page, grouped into five sections. The four you are most likely to need are the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, the Advertiser and Affiliate Disclosure, and Complaints and Regulator Contacts.

Every document shows its effective date, the date it was last updated, and the date of the next scheduled review at the top. If you want a prior version of anything, write to [email protected] and we will send it. We do not quietly replace a document and leave you without a way to see what changed.

What consumer protection rights do I have when using Banrox?

More than most sites tell you, and all of them are free.

  • Your credit file. A free report from each bureau at annualcreditreport.com, a free dispute of anything inaccurate, a free security freeze, and a free fraud alert. Banrox charges nothing for any of this and cannot do it for you. See Credit Data and Your FCRA Rights.
  • Your data. Access, correction, deletion, opt out of sale or sharing, and an appeal if we say no. We apply the same standard in all 50 states. See State Privacy Rights.
  • Fair treatment in credit. The Equal Credit Opportunity Act bars discrimination by any creditor. See Fair Lending and ECOA.
  • Your subscription. Cancel online in one click, reminders before every renewal, and a full refund inside 30 days. See Subscriptions and Billing.
  • Your phone. Marketing contact requires your separate consent, and you can withdraw it any reasonable way. See Calls, Texts and Email.

Do I need to read every document before I use the platform?

No. Four things cover almost everyone.

  • Banrox is not a bank, a lender, a broker, or a credit repair organization. Every financial product you see here belongs to another company that decides for itself whether to approve you. The complete list of what Banrox is not is in Section 1 of the Terms of Service.
  • Nothing here is an offer. Rates, payments and scores on this site are published information or estimates, not quotes.
  • Marketing contact is optional. You are never required to accept calls or texts to use anything. See Calls, Texts and Email.
  • Section 21 of the Terms is an arbitration clause with a class action waiver. You can opt out within 30 days by emailing [email protected] and keep every other term. Read that section even if you read nothing else.

How do I dispute an error or file a complaint?

It depends who made the error, and that distinction saves you weeks.

  • An error on your credit report. Banrox cannot fix it, because the file belongs to the bureau. Dispute it with the bureau and with the company that reported it. Both, not one. It is free. Step by step at Credit Data and Your FCRA Rights.
  • Something Banrox did. Email [email protected] with "Complaint" in the subject. We acknowledge within 3 business days and answer within 15, in writing.
  • A lender, bank or issuer you found through us. That company first, then the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at consumerfinance.gov/complaint.
  • Straight to a regulator. You never have to come to us first, it does not pause any legal deadline, and it costs nothing. Every address is at Complaints and Regulator Contacts.

Can I opt out of marketing communications or data sharing?

Yes, all of it, at any time, free, and we do not treat you differently for it.

  • Texts: reply STOP to any message.
  • Email: click unsubscribe in any marketing email.
  • Calls: tell any agent, or email [email protected]. We add you to our internal do not call list and keep the entry for at least five years.
  • Data sharing: turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser and we honour it automatically with no account and no form, or use the Do Not Sell or Share control in your account, or email [email protected] with that subject line.
